Spring Safety  (Read 2055 times)

Well, looks like a whole bunch of us made it through the Winter.  Crappie are moving shallow and the sandies are beginning to stir!  I don;t know about you, but cabin fever has me by the toe. I tend to get a little aggresive in my Spring quest for fish. I hope you don't forget safety.
Wear your PFD when using the "big motor" and when you are alone, please!  Kill switches are col so use them.
Wader folks, be careful too, a wading staff (for the rich folk) or a strong 5ft stick for the rest of us is most helpful when wading the shallows.  It could help keep you upright on those muddy bottoms and holes that lurk beneath the surface. You don't want that cold water coming in your waders to freeze your warm dry parts So STICKS UP! and happy safe fishin!
