What lures would you recommend for fishing for white bass from the bank?

I plan to use a spinning reel and was looking for something that will not get snagged easily.

I've had good luck with slabs but you need to keep them up off the bottom.  I also use a weighted float for casting with a white crappie jig suspended 3-4 feet below it.  The weighted float lets me cast out a good distance from the shore.

Thanks Redloon. That is a good idea with a crappie jig and bobber I will try it.

I figured with the muddy lake you would need a roostertail or something to stir up the water a bit more. If anyone has more lures to try let me know

1/3 oz Little Cleo in Chrome. Best sandy catchin bait ever made. The chrome black or Chrome blue work well too. They are hard to find. Cabelas and Barlows has em.
