Anchored off point in 13 fow for crappie, sand bass or yellow bass.  Bite got slow early morning so I got some shut-eye.  Fishing partner said he caught and weighed a 6 pound bass while I slept.  Just then my ultra light was nearly jerked out of holder.  Broke light leader (weakened by sand bass teeth) at rim of net, but estimated to be 6+ pounds.  Re-rigged and landed 4 pounder a little later.  Unexpected daybreak bite of fish not targeted!
