Windy Wednesday  (Read 1297 times)

Shook off the cabin fever by getting tossed around on the west arm of the Lady Wednesday.  Set two lines of jugs in 17 to 24 FOW and tied up on lee side of a point in 12 FOW using split hookers. Four pounder grabbed 1st rod before I got the last one set, then nothing else all morning.  Too windy to check jugs mid day so we tried short drifts to where chop got unbearable and only caught a 3 pounder.  Decided we had been beaten up enough so we pulled jugs and called it a day. Took home a dozen from 2.5 to 9 pounds and tossed 3 small ones.  Had one runner we chased 1/4 mile and CPR'd a 36.  Only had to pump the bilge about a dozen times!!
