Went to a little lake north of Plano this morning fly fishing for bream and ended up with 22, had a  nice 9 1/2" redear and several 8" bluegills. Ceviche tonight!

Looking forward to getting on Southlake this spring for some of those bluegill.

I'm working on my latest project bought just for the smaller lakes like Southlake and Loy lake.  The boat is a 1964 Skeeter 15' bass boat in fairly good condition (now that I've put a new floor in it.).  This boat is 52 years old and the fiberglass is still in good condition.  Going to be running a trolling motor on it to get around.

No float tube for me after I saw a 3' long snake on the fishing dock during my first trip there scouting out Southlake.  Although the snake was dead I don't believe he was the only one there. icon_biggrin
