Which boat ramp would be easiest to use for a new boater on Lake Lavon?  (Read 1424 times)

I am a new boat owner and really want to get out on Lavon to do some bass fishing.  Just wondering if there are ramps on the northern part of the lake that are better for a beginning  boater to use or if they are all about the same.

Tickey Creek is protected from south winds. No courtesy dock though. I have a hambys protector so I beach my boat on the ramp.

Thank you!  How is the Elm Creek ramp? It looks well protected from the south winds.  Some of these look remote and I am concerned with vehicle break-ins too.

Little Ridge is probably better than Tickey Creek, but it's on the Far East side and not really "north"
