Looking for some pointers  (Read 1915 times)

While I have been bass fishing since I was a kid, I am new to fishing Lake Lavon for bass. I have had plenty of luck with crappie, but just can't seem to get on the bass. I've tried Texas rigs in the creeks around Mallard Park and Brockdale park, crankbaits on the rip-rap along railroad tracks and Highway 78 bridge, spinner-baits, swim baits, etc. And of course I've gone through several different color patterns of each. I've been six different trips on Lavon at different lengths of time and have yet to get a bite from a bass.

Anyone care to throw any pointers my way? Just want to get something in the boat or my 7-year old is gonna think I'm the worst fisherman in Collin County!  icon_frown icon_frown
