Been catching a few small sandies while kayak fishing launching Clear lake.

Going out again Monday and Tuesday.  Have a basic fishfinder.

Where might they be this time of year???   Heard they might be feeding in fall more getting ready for winter. Or have I missed the Season???

Input would be appreciated, thanks Richard

Sandies this time of year will be deep. Looked like sandies were hittin the shad suspended in 30 plus feet of water at 20 to 25 feet deep over by the cut at the island Thursday, south side. hard blue color on the graph which is usually sandies or crappie. Slabs, little cleos or jigs ought to get r done.

I found them in the cove south of the peninsula yesterday.  They were schooling fast and furious.  I had a slab tied so I gave it a go.  Lots of fun

Guys, appreciate the Info.  Going again tomorrow.  Probably near the dam.

Yesterday kayaked from Clear Lake past BE to Glass House fishing and trolling in 25 to 30 feet.  Only 2 small Sandies, did not see a lot of mass on fish finder.

By the Island 3 small bass in 8 to 10 feet.  All on chartreuse slabs.
