Thinking about doing some evening fishing and launching from Brockdale. I noticed on the now open gate a sign that states something like "Park closes at dusk". I am assuming that this doesn't necessarily mean that the gates are closed and locked each night. I would hate to come in from the water after dusk only to find that I am confined to spend the evening sleeping under the stars. Can someone help a Lavon novice out here and let me know if this sign is just a formality or if the gates do in fact close each evening? I am thinking they don't but would like some confirmation. Thanks.

I am not sure about the hours, but according to the Corps site  http://www.swf-wc.usace.army.mil/lavon, Brockdale is now open.

The following boat ramps are now open:

Lavonia South Boat Ramp
 Twin Groves Boat Ramp
 Bratonia Boat Ramp
 Brockdale Boat Ramp
 Ticky Creek Boat Ramp
