With Lavon boat ramps being closed we decided to cast our bread on different waters. Went out Tuesday to Ray Hubbard, set our jugs and tried a bit of night fishing anchored over submerged levy.  Got some nice yellow bass, a few small drum and blue cat but no crappie or sandbass. Did manage a 2.5, a 4 and a 12 lb CPR blue.  Picked up jugs mid morning Wednesday and headed home with 25 keepers from 2.25 to 7 lbs averaging 4+ lbs. CPR's 11, 14, 19 and 28 plus 2 runaways that tangled in stumps and straightened hooks.  Threw back 22 under 2 lbs.  Interesting sighting near where Lavon dumps in was a flathead of 40-50 lbs with a big raw spot on top of its head cruising along surface near our anchorage.  All in all a pretty good first time outing!

What Boast Ramps are easy access on the North end of Ray Hubbard?
