I was excited to get out for the first time since the water level came up.  It's been a LONG time since I launched at East Fork, but we took off shortly after first light.  Thought we could find some fish up in all the newly flooded cover with fast moving baits, but all we could muster on those was a nice sand bass on a chatterbait (wind was blowing shad in on that bank).  After a couple of hours of nothing, we spent the next couple of hours mainly pitching a creature bait around the bushes.  Ended up catching a 2# and a 3# and missing a couple - all in different locations around the lake.  Tough morning for sure, but exciting to see the lake back to "normal."

Can't wait to get back out there.
