Went out this morning below the dam for 3 hours. Caught all of 3 sandbass.  It was a nice morning and wasn't too hot today.

I saw someone catch a nice flathead - it must have weighted at least 40 pounds.  It was caught on a chartreuse slab.

Love fishing! It's my drug!

Must of been the same guys that were there yesterday, they were snagging them. A father and a son, had a chartreuse slab and a 3 oz weight throwing it right against the wall Ann reeling in slowly and setting the hook on a bump. Snagged a buffalo on its eye an a flat tyre within 15 minutes.

I would think that is illegal....

Did they keep the tire?

Yeah - I saw them haul up the buffalo snagged in the eye.

Release went from 12000 cfs this morning to now reporting around 4000 cfs.

I  guess that is one way to clean the trash the weekenders leave on the banks - a big flush icon_biggrin

Caught 5 nice sand bass below the dam this morning.  Threw back 2 under sized ones and a channel cat.
Should be nice first thing tomorrow morning - Channel 8 news is forecasting temps in the middle sixties.  I'll be there again.
