The moon may not affect bass as the article claims, catfish seem to be different. Last week when the moon was full I caught quite a few nice blue cats. When there is no moon, my fishing always seems less productive.

I don't bass fish as much these past few years, wonder if anyone is catching any on Lavon?  Whenever I run into another angler they are chasing cats or crappie.

Interesting read. Especially the tournament statistics.
My only theory is that on a bright full moon, fish could be feeding all night. Shad are reflective little suckers!   icon_mrgreen
Then the day after, fish aren't as hungry. But after a dark or stormy night, they wake up hungry... just like me.  icon_cool
