I beat it a couple days ago. BUT, the lady said I had to beat it by half a lb. ..... Old record  was 0.26 lbs   mine was 0.53. Austin said a .83 would make it a new record. BS.

Got an email saying it just has to be over .50 to record as a record.

So I threw it back in the lake.

Lost the record cause of a new person on the phone at the TPWD office.

I should have certified it anyways.

That's why I called them. It's grandfathered in. That record may stick as the warmouth I caught the other day was the biggest I have ever caught. So once again, ur record is safe.

you can not certify a record under .50 lbs.

warmouth barley come close to that. So if next week I catch a 0.48 warmouth, I cant do anything with it, even though it beats you. I need a .50 or bigger

They just don't post anything under 0.5 lbs on the website, you still get the Lake Record
certificate. My Brother has the Bonham warmouth record 0.84, 9.5 inches, was a big one
but no where close to the world record (2 lbs 7 oz)
