Fish Hook do you work for UPS Ive always heard its hard to get on as a driver. Ive been driving 21 years now clean class A cdl with doubles and triples..

Yes.
Again, ups is gearing up to handle all the volume they are getting and are hiring drivers with class a and b licenses. A new hub is being built in Mckinney and is expected to be complete by Nov 1014. They are in need of a lot of part timers too.

What is a class a & b license and what does it take to get one?

Class A is a commercial drivers license that you need to get to drive the 18 wheelers. In order to get a class A, you need to be trained and tested. Some companies offer free training. Otherwise, you will probably need to go to a truck driving school.
Class B is required to drive a delivery vehicle like the brown ups trucks and bread trucks. Not sure what kind of test you need to have for these but you can probably look it up on the internet. UPs trains their Class A drivers for free, at least those that had their class B license and drove the delivery vehicles. Ups gets most of their Class A drivers from within the ranks of the delivery driver. If no delivery drivers want to move up to the class A vehicles then UPs has to hire people off the street that has class A license and experience.

Thanks for the info.  Not currently looking but with the way jobs are these days ya never know when you will be!
