My apology for providing a more timely response.  This class fulfills the requirements of TXPWD and USCG for safe boating.  Includes basic boating knowledge, vessel and personal safety, navigation and navigation aids, right of way, handling emergencies, boating laws for State of Texas, and more.  Also, TXPWD requires anyone born on or after Sept 01, 1993 must take and pass a Safe Boating Education course to operate a vessel powered by a motor of more than 15 horsepower; or a wind blown vessel over 14ft in length.  This course also covers people 13 years old and over to operate a PWC.

Contact the Carpenter Rec Center in Plano at 972-208-8087 to register

I had both my boats inspected last week by the local USCG auxiliary guy.
