Send Jerry Hamon, call sign "TCF" on this forum, a PM. He is el presidente of a kayak fishin club and they sometimes meet up and fish on Lavon. There would be a ton of expertise available to the newbies just startin out with kayaks.

I would like to meet up with you guys sometime too , I have a field & stream eagle talon 12 that I have only taken out to southlake a few times to get in a little practice before I hit some big water  icon_lol
