Looking at doing some duck hunting in Lavon this year?  Don't have a boat and was wandering if there were some slews or pools up on the north end of the lake to hunt at?  Also, how do you all mark you spots as to let others know that it is taken?  Duck hunted on the Trintiy River on the north end of Livingston for years grwoing up in Houston.  Wanted to get some local knowledge before going out.

Thanks

Duck hunting at Lavon is first come, first serve.  The only way to reserve a spot is to spend the night on the lake.
If you leave decoys on the water, they will usually be gone or shot up when you return. Permanent blinds are prohibited.

Thanks ibtx.  Any recommendations on some spots or just go out there on the corp land and scout it out?
