Got a pond that has alot of carp in it that is almost dry. Bait will soon be hard to come by so I was wondering if it is worth getting all muddy to get them before they die. And any ideas on what to do with them besides just fillet and freeze?

Also should I start keeping all this hog blood and if so what would I make with it?!

Scale and filet, turn flesh side up and salt heavily.  Allow 5 minutes  for salt to do its thing, then freeze.  Cut up when partially thawed, spray with dead red, soak in vanilla, or whatever you prefer and catch those blues.

A day without fishing is a day lost forever!
