Remember, we are new to all this, we need some more practice to be able to stay with you guys, besides we have never been on that lake before!!!

Here is the most important info I can give you.  If you drive your boat to BPS, then be prepared to dodge other boats in the process.  I am gonna get picked apart for this, but it fills up with some young and dumb kinda folks.  Not everyone, but the clear majority  icon_lol  It compares real close to Lewisville which you may know something about.  Good news is that it is still a bit early but the near 80 temps sat will bring them out.

as far as fishing, it has lots of trees in the north end and most of the lake is surrounded by lily pads which will not be in yet, but maybe some stalks.  fishes a lot like lavon.

Larry,  couple months ago, that 66 ramp was very shallow.  there's two ramps, the south is definitely too shallow.   That's where I would like put out but it may be shallower now.   I was thinking Robertson park.

I was going to Hubbard this afternoon, but I may wait due to wind.

Not sure how accessable it is down there with the current water level. I don't see a problem with it though.

It was slow for most of some of us tody. We caught a 19 and 20 early this morning then only produce 1 more cat in the last 6 hours of fishing.   We only weighed in 3 fish, I know two other teams didn't weigh 5 fish.  Annie also caught a gar, a drum and her first bowfin.   It was windy and wavy but still fun.

Congrats to all that fished it and to Ken and his wife for coordinating it.

Congradulations to Mr. Miles for putting a whoopin on us out there,

It was a windy, tough day out there, we only weighed in 4 fish, just couldn't get the fifth one today,

Nice to see everybody out there, kind of missed seeing the girls out there, they must have been getting their toe-nails painted or something,

Hope to see everybody at Texoma next month, hope it isn't as windy there as it was at Hubbard.

Good Luck to all of ya!!!

Started North and Shallow in 5 foot. No bites for the first hr. Then went to 2.25 foot for another 1.5 hrs with only 2 bites and still no fish. Went and found a few fish in 16 to 19' and finnaly caught a fish just over 10 . We only had a couple of fish by 11:45 . So We went back shallow on a windy point. I was extreamly Proud of Macy for toughing it out and acting right all day. Once we hit the fish she got in action as allways and did good. And thanks to Mike once again for being great with one of my girls.

We did not have the day we expected but, Macy had a great time at the weigh in and felft realy speacial on stage.. She is bragging to big sis about getting to do a tourny First for once.
