We will hold the Classic on Richland Chambers May 15th and 16th. There will be a fish fry after day 1's weigh-in. We have $2000 to the pay out for this tournament and will pay the top 5 places. There will be a big fish for both days as well.
Tournament site will be the Oak Cove Marina.

Oak Cove Maina is it or you can get a room in Corsicana. It's bout 17 minutes away from Oak Cove. Lots of hotels/motels in Corsicana.

staying at Oak Cove itself is easiest and it is fairly well maintained. Plenty of room for boats and such. This was always my favorite place to hang out and fish when we weren't local. Looking forward to it!. As of right now, Ed will be making this one.

Your local supplier of no-roll weights!
Just a reminder to everyone for the regulations for RC on blue cats, should make this tourney very fair and interesting:
Fishing Regulations
Statewide regulations apply to all fishes except blue catfish, which are subject to a 30-to-45-inch slot limit. Blue catfish 30 inches and less or 45 inches and longer may be retained, with a limit of one per day that measures 45 inches or longer. Otherwise, the daily bag limit is 25 blue and channel catfish combined.

I don't know if I would say FAIR due to the slot, there are many different ways to look at it.
1 really big fish would be HARD to beat cause you can't compete unless you caught one yourself. I do expect that most will be battling it out for the smaller fish to get in stringer weights of 35 pounds. Definately makes it anyones game.
Just think how hard it will be tossing back a 25 pound fish or 2 cause you can't keepem......
Either way i think it will make it interresting to say the least. And for the record, the best we have done there is a 14 pounder. But we have only fished it 4 times and all in April.
I expect to at least go and catch some fish and try everything we can to get the high end below slot fish. I would love a monster, but it will take a good one.

Gonna take a big fish to be over. The record is 63 pounds with a 45" length so you do the math. I guess you could get lucky and catch a flattie.

I'm gonna say 25 pounds will be a good stringer for this one each day. I don't think anyone will bring in a blue over the slot on either day, IMHO.

Yea, I'd almost put money on it that a big blue over the slot won't be weighed in. How'd yall do this past weekend?
