I have noticed lately that after I click on a piture to view it, the site seems to almost be none responsive.  If a close the browser and open a new one, it is fine again.  It may very well be my laptop.  Just curious if anyone else is or has experienced this?

I bought a box of animal crackers and it said on it "Do not eat if seal is broken." So I opened up the box, and sure enough...

What browser? What version of Java? What anti virus? what OS?

I am not seeing any issues. What picture in what post are you seeing this in?

I just randomly opened 19 attachments from the forum with out an issue.

Not sure what version of Java I have, pretty up to date though, but am using Windows XP, IE browser, and MacAfee antivirus. There doesn't seem to be any one pic that it does this on for me, it's random. Sometimes it will hang on a pic, then a little while later will open it fine. Beats me. *shrug*

Thanks for checking guys.

Hey, got any *shrug* smileys?  icon_lol

I'm using the latest version of Firefox ( http://www.getfirefox.com ) and I have never seen this. I have a slow netbook and haven't seen it there either.

There has to be something in common here.

There might be one thing, I'm not savvy enough to know if it would make a difference or not, but I am using IE version 7. My husband has IE 8 and I didn't care for the way it was laid out, so I have not updated. What do you think? Anybody else using Internet Explorer 7.0?

I'm set up with the same stuff...  Doesn't happen with every photo, but when it does, it's frusterating...

Only other thing i can think of is turn off the ability to upload attachments if it is causing this big of an issue.

Go to a format like TFF where you have to link the photo from another site.

Eewww, I'd rather put up with the occasional annoyance with the way it is here than change to one like TFF. Don't like their format.

But thanks!!!  icon_biggrin
