New No Role Weights  (Read 4311 times)

I had a bunch of old egg sinkers in all different sizes and was thinking of what to do with them.  I decided to get the bigger 1oz-2oz egg sinkers and what i did was cut a metal coat hanger, sprayed it with some triflow and put the hanger through the sinker holes.  Then I took a hammer and flatened the weight into a no role weight.  I used a pair of dykes to hold the coat hanger and twisted off the weight. They came out to be perfect no role weights.  Saves some money and recycled some egg sinker weights that havent been used in years.  Maybe it will help out some of you all who are in need.

Or leave the coat hanger in and make a bottom bouncer weight.  icon_biggrin

STILL THE BIGGEST BRAD!!! The rest are just wanna

Thats what Bill Crowe does.  Makes up eggs, then puts a nail through them.  Then puts them in a vise and squeezes them.

I was the biggest brad.  Until someone changed it and locked my account.  Can't have any fun.

You planning on putting them on your mantle or tossing them into a stump field.  On second thought, maybe "ugly sinkers" is why I can't catch any fish.

This flattening method is exactly what I plan to do with a bunch of old castnet weights ...I have made a bunch of bottom bouncers with them, but now its shallow time. Ahh,The sound of bait clickers is music to my ears icon_cool
